I recently stayed at Hi Rampart Creek for a short adventure in the Rockies. The hostel's off-grid setup with solar and generator power was unique and eco-friendly. The cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. The location allowed me to immerse myself in the wilderness and enjoy various outdoor activities. The friendly and helpful owner-manager made me feel welcome. The kitchen was well-stocked and the facilities, including the sauna and glacier creek, were unexpected and enjoyable. The drop toilets were the cleanest I've seen. a great experience for a budget-friendly wilderness getaway.
Can recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Hi Rampart Creek was an unforgettable wilderness experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Despite the rustic setting, the outhouses were surprisingly clean and well-maintained.
Although we were initially unaware of this, it was a minor inconvenience that didn't detract from our overall enjoyment.

Amazing location in the middle of nature, providing a true wilderness experience. Outdoor sauna available for use, perfect for unwinding after a day of outdoor activities. Cozy indoor communal area, providing a clean and comfortable space for guests to relax.
Limited water for washing dishes, which can be inconvenient if you're planning on cooking your own meals. Price of the hostel is quite high considering the lack of shower facilities and the need to use outdoor toilets.

The campfire in the middle added to the cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and the outhouses were the best I've ever seen.
